Rajiv Mehra

Rajiv Mehra, is a Partner in M/s Eagle Films, Director of Eagle Films Pvt. Ltd. and C.E.O. of Eagle Video Films, Mumbai, and has been actively participating in the affairs of the Company since 1977, after successfully completing a Bachelor of Commerce, Degree Course from H.R. College, Mumbai.

Mr. RAJIV MEHRA

Joined Eagle Films as Production Executive in 1978 and successfully handled the Production of Films such as Alibaba Aur 40 Chor, Ashaanti, and Sohni Mahiwal etc.

1. Turned independent Film Director in 1982 with a film called “Ek Jaan Hain Hum” starring Shammi Kapoor and introducing Rajiv Kapoor (Raj Kapoor’s youngest son) and Divya Rana.

2. Started a company under Eagle Films, called Eagle Video Films and Produced and Directed a Television Serial called “Ek Do Teen Char” for Doordarshan in 1984/1985.

3. Developed Eagle Video Film into a full fledged High/Low Band Post-Production facility in 1985.

4. Directed film “Pyar Ke Do Pal” starring Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada in 1986.

5. Directed film “Aakhari Adalat” starring Vinod Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, Jackie Shroff etc. in 1988.

6. Produced and Directed Television Serial “Mamaji” starring Deven Varma for Doordarshan in 1989.

7. Started Eagle Film Studios, in Nodia, New Delhi in 1991-1992, which was the first completely equipped studio facility in Noida, New Delhi, and continues to be one of the most sought after facilities today.

8. Set-up a Top of the line Betacam Post-Production Facility at Eagle Video Films.

9. Directed film “Chamatkar” starring Shahrukh Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Urmila Matondkar in 1993.

10. Produced and Directed Television Serial “Zabaan Sambhal Ke” in 52 Episodes for Doordarshan in 1994.

11. Directed film “Ram Jaane” starring Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla in 1995-1996.

12. Produced and Directed Television Serial “All New Zabaan Sambhal Ke” in 52 Episodes for Home T.V. in 1997.

13. Set up a High End Post Production set-up including Discreet Logic ‘Fire’ - Avid Media Composure 8000 & Eagle 3D a dedicated Computer Graphics Department in Eagle Video Films.

14. Produced and Directed “Office-Office”, “Kissa Kursi Ka”, “Nok Jhok”, “Khatta Meetha” and Film@2000, for SABe T.V. “Office Office” went on to bag all the major comedy awards from 2000 to 2004.

15. Directed Television Serial “Shararat” for UTV, Telecast on Star Plus, in 250 Episodes from 2001 to 2006.

16. Produced & Directed “LOC-Life Out of Control” a ONE HOUR COMEDY SHOT IN LONDON for Star Plus in 2005.

17. Directed Serial “Shanno KI Shaadi” with Divya Dutta, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Kamini Kaushal, for UTV, telecast on Star Plus 2006-2007.

18. Produced and Directed “Naya Office Office” telecast on Star One in52 Episodes during 2006/2007.

19. Produced and Directed “Full Toss-Hanste Raho Boss” for ESPN/STAR Sports in 26 Episodes during 2007.

20. Directed “Agdam Bagdam Tigdam” a childrens programme in 26 Episodes for Contiloe Films, telecast on Disnet Channel.

21. Directed “Sun Yaar Chill Maar” with a “First Time Actors” cast for UTV, telecast on Bindaas Channel 2008-2009.

22. Producing and Directing “Office Office-The Movie” in collaboration with Vistaar Religare Media Fund, to be released in October, 2009. It is for the first time a TV Serial is being made into a Feature Film in India.
